Looking back when I was in the deepest throws of my own addiction,

I remember what it felt like to be lost, broken and without hope. I was lonely and filled with shame and guilt.

Recovery Coaching

Our recovery coaching sessions are usually 50 minutes in duration but can be customized. Here we look at discussing and encouraging positive changes in behaviour. We navigate how to adjust to daily life and how to rebuild it in a stable, positive way, finding solutions by working to create and establish healthy patterns in daily life, and to let go of the past to find freedom in recovery. Traditionally, recovery coaching is viewed as a support to those adapting to sobriety after substance misuse, however here at Kendrick Recovery Solutions we recognize the multifaceted spectrums of external substance or unhealthy habit reliance. This includes overuse, misuse of anything that is preventing an individual from living life to their fullest potential. Kendrick Recovery Coaching is a collaborative effort, we take this journey together, side-by-side to offer the support, resources and action plans that will best suit the needs of each client. Recovery coaching by nature is present focused, but we also take into consideration how the actions of today will build the foundation for a brighter tomorrow. For questions or to set up an introduction, please see the contact page and we will be happy to discuss this, or any other service offered in greater detail.

Peer Support Recovery Coaching

Similar to our Certified Professional Recovery coaching sessions, they are usually 50 minutes in duration but may also be customized. Although the peer support recovery coaching may also be conducted by Certified Professional Recovery Coaches, they are often less formal in nature. This informally is intentional, as it speaks to clients who may not be as comfortable with a more traditional coaching session. The area of focus here is that Kendrick Recovery Solutions Peer Support Recovery Coaching centers on empathic sharing of experiences based on shared struggles when living in addiction. It speaks to the sharing of similar emotions prior to finding or seeking recovery and often this coaching platform serves as an immeasurably helpful first step to the client regaining a feeling of hope for a better future.

Resilience Coaching

Learning from the past, accepting it and finding a stable grounding in present day. Kendrick Recovery Solutions Resilience Coaching programs place an emphasis on finding ways for the client to develop coping mechanisms to stress, increasing their resilience to external distractions and events that are causing the client distress. Areas of focus of this form of coaching includes working together in a non-judgmental observation of the self, accepting that the past is an immovable object, self-realization, increasing motivation to develop healthy habits and finding healthy ways to manage stress. Resilience Coaching is a highly beneficial part of mental health support for clients who are experiencing feelings of being in a rut, uncertainty as to how to live in the moment, coping with sadness or an inability to let go of that which no longer serves them.

Comprehensive Interventions

As a developed network of Certified Intervention Professionals, those who work under the umbrella of Kendrick Recovery Solutions see it as our responsibility and mandate to bring the best resources on the table to support the positive facilitation of this, oftentimes, life saving mission. The intervention process is one that consists of these five phases: inquiry, assessment, pre-intervention, intervention, and aftercare. Each of the phases serves an equally important part in ensuring the greatest possibility of reaching the client, providing the best quality of care and moving through the process in a way that also supports the families and loved ones of the identified person. Interventionists and assisting specialists will be chosen based on the specific needs of the identified person, their family and any additional mental health support that is necessary to ensure the highest chance of a collaborative, positive and proactive intervention process from introduction to ongoing aftercare.
